Filton Limited, privately owned British Company based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, specialise in the field of fluid transfer engineering and manufacture air breather filters, and rotary and swivel joints. The company was formed by Mr. William Murray in 1942 to manufacture leather oil seals for rotary and swivel joints.

During the last 70 years we have been involved in the design, development, and manufacture of a wide range of precision made air breather filters and rotary and swivel joints, for industry throughout the world.

One of our main interests today is in the production of standard and special rotary seals – by using state of the art designs and sophisticated seal face materials, we can undertake a multitude of complex sealing problems. Our rotary joints are self-contained and self-supporting rotary seals, used to transfer fluids such as steam, water, air or oil to and from rotating machinery. Standard units are of steel and nickel alloys for chemically aggressive fluids or food quality applications. When applications cannot be resolved with our standard units, multi-ports/specials can be tailor-made to meet specific requirements.

Quality is paramount, and Filton Limited are certified to ISO 9001:2000. Strict quality assurance procedures include 100% pressure testing of self-contained rotary seals before release to the customer. All tests are recorded and can be traced to the units’ unique serial number.
